What is breast cancer?
Cancer is a disease where the body’s cells multiply more rapidly than normal. This uncontrolled increase in the number of cells results in a lump which is known as a tumor. What is cervical cancer?The cervix is made up of millions of tiny cells. These are not cancer. However, if left untreated these calls may later develop into cancer. Less common and more difficult to detect is a type of cervical cancer which starts in the glandular cells, known as adenocarcinoma.
Cervical cancer can also be microinvasive or invasive.
